ROOT CANALS

Root canal treatment, also known as Endodontic treatment, is the process of removing and cleaning the pulp (inside of the tooth) that has been injured and/or infected past the point of recovery.  The subsequent space is filled with a sterile thermoplastic compound (gutta percha) that helps to prevent reinfection of the canals.
